About the Work
On my property I discovered the remnants of the foundation from an old structure that had stood on this land but long forgotten. At first it was nothing more than discarded debris that was simply in the way. Over time as I walked by, I became more and more interested in its texture and character. It grew to represent a memory from someone else’s life whom I will never know. I became engrossed in imagining its construction. The mortar oozes from between the bricks as if it were knots forming on the surface of an old tree that continue to grow and morph over time. It is ugly and imperfect yet immovable and proud. 

About the Edition
Each month, Jones releases a 3-5 fine art photographs from the brand new series 'Closer Than My Breath.' Every print is a meditation on themes of pain, healing, and transcendence, blending abstraction with photographic precision. Inspired by poetry, recovery, love and meditation, these works invite collectors to slow down and experience photography as both image and ritual.
