About the Work

What is a memory but a reconstruction of a moment in time made from a real experience. Layers and layers of images stacked on top of one another and stitched together in whatever mode one’s brain can devise. Is this memory true or is it just a combination of the stories you’ve heard and the photographs you’ve seen? Did it even really happen? Was I even there? And, in the end, does it even matter? Photography is magic.

About the Edition
Each month, Jones releases a 3 fine art photographs from the brand new series 'Closer Than My Breath.' Every print is a meditation on themes of pain, healing, and transcendence, blending abstraction with photographic precision. Inspired by poetry, recovery, love and meditation, these works invite collectors to slow down and experience photography as both image and ritual.
